Dec 2015 - Vera was presented with the Hawkesbury "Environmental Volunteer of the Year", at the Hawkesbury Bushcare Landcare Awards.

In January, the Macdonald Valley Association was presented with the Australia Day Environment Award by the Hawkesbury City Council.
